We catered a dinner party. The menu included: Brushetta with toasts, Shrimp served in a pumpkin with Apricot Pineapple dip, Twice baked new potatoes appetizers, Prosciutto wrapped Asparagus with garlic and Parmesan cheese, Honey Baked Ham with rolls, Pumpkin cake roll with candied pecans, and a chocolate fountain with strawberries, pineapple, bananas, angel food cake, marshmellows, and pretzles.
This Cake was for a friends boss. He is moving to Australia. We shaped it like Australia, and covered it in the flag. It has some Aussie sayings around it on banners, and is topped with "Kenny" the koala bear! It is a banana cake with cream cheese frosting!
I recently graduated from culinary school and love working with cakes. My mother and I have joined forces to break the cake mold!
